The woman behind the mask.

When people used to say that “behind every great man there’s a great woman” I would cringe. It felt like they were telling me I couldn’t succeed without a woman helping me out. but now I understand what it means after coming to know this girl.
πŸ‘‘ QUEEN AMARACHI

Her name is Amarachi confidence .
She is the definition of a virtuous woman.
Her value is worth more than rubies.
She is elegant, an epitome of beauty.

Just too natural

She is a beautiful woman who has a distinctive personality; one who can laugh at anything, including herselves, and one who is especially kind and caring to others.
She is a woman, who above all else, knows the value of having fun, and not taking life too seriously.
She is a woman that you can trust and count on to brighten your day.

She knows how to make one happy

Her smile kills.
Being  around her is something one can't resist

She is a woman who can inexplicably make you feel really good just by being around her, and yet brings such great sadness when she is gone.

She is exceedingly gorgeous, with a heart of gold, her eyes sparkle, and her smile lights up a room, someone that can leaves you in awe and wonder reminding you of pure and utter perfection.”
Ify ,amy and paul

If am to describe her further by her appearance I will say:

She is plus one today.
Please help me wish her well.

Lesson three

First, let’s learn the names of the white keys. You can use the diagram below to help you.
As you may know already, we use the alphabet to name the white notes of the piano, starting with “A” and moving up by step from left to right through the alphabet to “G”. The next note after “G” is “A”, where the pattern repeats: “A” through to “G”.

You may have already noticed that this occurs all over the keyboard — both up and down — and there are multiple “A”s, “B”s “C”s and so on. It’s common for pianists to refer to the “A” to “G” that sits in the middle of the keyboard as “middle A”, “middle B”, “middle C” and so on.

How do we learn it?

To identify the white notes quickly, you can use the black keys as orientation points , like points on a map. For example (using the diagram below), if I want to find the note “A”, look for a group of three black keys, move inwards to the two white keys enclosed, and “A” is on the right-hand-side.

Why learn it like this?

By using the black keys as orientation points, it makes identifying the white notes quick and easy compared with trying to work them out sequentially. It’s worth learning a few of the notes using this approach. For example, I could easily remember where “F” is by looking for the group of three black keys. “F” is the white key on the left-hand-side, as you’ll see in the diagram below. Before long you’ll know the white keys inside out.

Good-to-know terminology

A musical term you may have already heard, that defines the distance between two successive notes that share the same name (e.g. from middle “A” to the next “A” above), is called an “octave”.

We’d call the distance from middle “A” to the next “A” above that “two octaves”. Have a quick glance at the next diagram. The next “A” above that (still starting on “middle A”) would be “three octaves” — you get the idea.

( N.B. words like above or up on a keyboard means to move right, whereas
below or down means to move left.)

Octaves are useful to know because if you were instructed to play an “A” two octaves above “middle A”, you’d know which “A” you’d need to play. Similarly, if you were instructed to play an “A” two octaves below “middle A”, you’d know to instead play that “A” (the one two octaves below “middle A”), etc.

Practice tips
Bite-size chunks are where it’s at. They’re easier to digest, understand and remember. It’ll be a theme amongst most practice tips . When learning the white keys, do a little and often. Rather than sitting down for an unproductive hour, why not try to make habit of testing yourself for a minute or two every time you walk past your piano?
For example, just before leaving for work in the morning, spend 30 seconds trying to find all the “F”s up and down the keyboard. Once you’re familiar with the “F”s, when you next pass the piano, try and find all the “C”s. Then all the “A”s, etc. Before long you’ll have sussed all the names of the white keys.

Lesson two

This simple piano notes chart is designed to help beginners find their way around the piano keyboard. If you’re just getting familiar with the piano keyboard, all you need to do is recognize this pattern of black keys:

As described in the article Layout of Piano Keys , this pattern of groups of two and three black keys repeats itself over and over. All you need to do is learn this pattern, and you’ll be able to find any key on the piano using the piano notes chart.
But here’s an essential point which you probably won’t learn elsewhere: The piano keys don’t “really” have names. They’re just keys, not notes. (The article Piano Key Chart explains this concept in more detail.) The only exception is middle C, which is (roughly) in the middle of the piano keyboard, and that is only by convention.
I understand that this may be confusing at first, but it’s a good idea to understand this concept now; otherwise learning sharps and flats on the piano will be unnecessarily confusing later on.
The piano keyboard is relative, and it has to be relative to something , so let’s take middle C as our starting point. To orient yourself with the piano keyboard, find the first white key to the left of the group of two black keys, in the middle of the keyboard. That’s middle C:

Play middle C. Now play the next seven white keys in succession, going up the keyboard (to the right). It should sound like this:
This last key you played is also C, one octave higher. This is where the pattern of keys repeats itself. You just played a C major scale, in fact. Here are the note names for the C major scale:

Take “note” of these note names, since they will orient you on the piano keyboard. This, then, will serve as your piano notes chart.
What’s interesting is that these keys aren’t actually
called C, D, E, etc. They just play those notes. The same keys also play other notes. For instance, we could play a B-sharp major scale, in which you’d play the exact same keys on the piano, but this time all the keys would correspond to entirely different notes, starting with B-sharp. And of course on the piano C major and B-sharp major sound exactly the same, since they’re played using the exact same keys.

The black keys
This leads us to the black keys… which leads us to
accidentals. “Accidentals” are by design… they’re no accident. They’re the sharps and flats . A sharp means to play the next higher key on a piano, while a flat means to play the next lower key. Thus, the key immediately to the right of middle C is C-sharp . But it is also D-flat , since it is immediately to the left of D.
Exercise : See if you can name notes that correspond to the black keys. For a more advanced exercise, try to find alternate names for the white keys! I’ll give you a hint: Notes are not necessarily limited to just one sharp or flat….

Summary
Let’s summarize the piano notes chart. All you need to understand for now are the following few points:
The groups of two and three black keys
Middle C
The letters A through G
Sharps and flats are instructions to play the next higher and lower keys, respectively.

Now that you’ve familiarized yourself with the piano keyboard, you’ll longer need the piano notes chart. For the next step (and the answers to the exercise), it’s time to move on to the Piano Key Chart .

Zinedine Zidane joins Juventus: Ex-Real Madrid boss follows Cristiano Ronaldo to Juve

Former Real Madrid manager Zidane is currently out of work after quitting the Bernabeu at the end of last season.
But he has agreed to join Juve’s technical staff and will work alongside Fabio Paratici as a director.
That is according to Spanish outlet Libertad Digital, who claim radio station El Primer Palo will divulge more details of the deal tonight.
Zidane’s supposed appointment at Juve comes just days after Cristiano Ronaldo signed for the club.
The manager and Ronaldo were part of the Real Madrid side that won a third consecutive Champions League crown in May.

The French manager was appointed Real boss in January 2016 and oversaw a period of European dominance at the Bernabeu.
Zidane quit in May, citing fatigue, and was replaced by Julen Lopetegui.
Juventus legend
Zidane moving to Juventus is certain not a surprise, considering his history with the club.
The former midfielder was Juve’s for five years before he was sold to Real for a then-record transfer fee of €77.5m in 2001.
He left Juventus having won two Serie A titles but never clinched the Champions League with the Old Lady.
He was signed after Juve beat Ajax on penalties in the 1996 final and was on the losing side in both 1997 and 1998 as the Turn club lost to Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid respectively.

Zidane to Juventus
Fast forward two decades and Juve appear determined to match the likes of European superpowers Real Madrid , Barcelona, PSG and Bayern Munich once again by investing heavily in the squad this summer.
They paid Real £105m for Ronaldo, who has penned a four-year contract worth £106m.
Juve chief Beppe Marotta is determined to bring the Champions League back to Turin, with the club having lost their last five European Cup finals.
That includes a 4-1 defeat to Zidane’s Real in Cardiff last year.

It was thought Zidane was due to take a break from football before heading back into management for the start of the 2019/20 campaign.
The France post was also tipped to go to the 1998 World Cup winner, but Didier Deschamps looks set to keep his job after Les Bleus won the World Cup on Sunday.
Pressure on Allegri
Zidane’s arrival at Juve would certainly put pressure on manager Max Allegri to deliver the Champions League this season.
The Italian, who took over from Antonio Conte in 2014, has won the league in each of his four seasons at Juve and reached two Champions League finals.
There were reports earlier in the year that he could quit the club this summer - but Allegri is determined to give Europe at least one more crack this term.
Juve are expected to dominate Serie A once again this season, with Napoli their only realistic challengers for the title.
Both Milan clubs are in turmoil off the pitch, while Roma lost talisman Radja Nainggolan to Inter in the transfer market and goalkeeper Alisson is tipped to leave as well.

Four reasons Ronaldo or Messi may not win ballon d'or

#1 Dismissal World Cup Campaigns

Lionel Messi for Argentina’s subpar world cup performance. Nevertheless, he was a part of the team which failed to deliver. He missed a crucial penalty in the first match, and couldn’t make much impact in the game against Croatia. He did score a crucial goal against Nigeria in sublime style, but looked far from his usual best. In the last match of their campaign, he tried everything he could, but unfortunately, Argentina were not good enough. Messi Wasn't good enough.

Cristiano Ronaldo might have had a good world cup statistically, but he too was, far from the beast he is for Real Madrid in the UCL. Again, it might be unfair to expect the same performances as Portugal doesn't have the quality Real Madrid has. But for a player with the caliber of Ronaldo, he should have been better.

Ron opened his campaign with a stunning performance. But that's it. In the second match, apart from a great header, Ron looked lackluster. In the third match against Iran, he couldn't do much. A clueless performance in the quarter-finals meant Portugal couldn't manage to beat a clinal and rock solid Uruguay.

Leo and Cristiano are not the sole reason their countries failed to deliver. But they are one of the reasons.
#2 RONALDO'S MOVE TO JUVENTUS
Juventus are an elite team, no doubt. But do they have the quality and motivation Real Madrid have? Ronaldo has been a constant performer for Madrid, due to reliable balls to pounce on. His Chemistry with Marcelo and Benzema has great benefited Real, and Ronaldo.

Juventus may try to replicate the chemistry, and may even be successful in it. However, the harsh truth is, Juventus isn't Real Madrid. Ronaldo’s transfer to a less famous league and a hard start to the UCL campaign could reduce his chances significantly. Moreover, even though Ronaldo is a great player, every player requires time to adapt. Will 5 months before the Ballon d’Or race be enough for Cristiano? Only time will tell.

#3 Embarrassing Exit from the UCL for Leo

Lionel Messi had a sensational domestic campaign, as always. Being the Top scorer of the league, and winner of a domestic double is a magnificent achievement for any player. But for Lionel Messi, it is only satisfactory. Leo’s UCL campaign- Barcelona’s UCL campaign- had a disastrous end.

They were favorites and looked on course for a historic third treble. However, one horror show in Rome was all it took. Barcelona and Messi fell hard. Barcelona couldn't produce anything special, and Lionel Messi missed an opportunity which could have put the tie to bed. This is the third time in a row Barcelona couldn't get past the quarter finals, and the third time in a row their Arch-rivals won the UCL.

That night in Rome will certainly have inflicted deep wounds into Barcelona’s season and Messi chances for the Ballon d’Or.

#4 One Name - Luka Modric

A third UCL in three seasons for this midfield genius. Luka Modric dominated the midfield for Real Madrid this season, putting on glorious performances. With Lionel Messi having a disappointing UCL run, and Ronaldo having left Real Madrid, the stage is set for Luka Modric to make the Ballon d’Or his own.

Club achievements alone aren't the reason Luka may win this. After all, playing for Real Madrid means winning the UCL is an expectation, not an achievement.

What truly has been special is his world cup campaign. Forming a solid partnership with Barcelona’s Ivan Rakitic, he had run over the midfield of every team he has faced. His performance against Argentina were glimpses of the Magic he can produce. If the Croatians pull off a huge upset and defeat the mighty Frenchmen, not many people would be willing to bet against Modric from winning the Ballon d’Or.

Maybe the time is just right. Just right for the dominance of Leo and Ron to end. If Luka is the man to do that, the world shouldn’t mind much.

Lesson one

A piano keyboard may look confusing at first, but the layout of piano keys is actually very simple. While it would be nearly impossible to identify individual keys if all we had were the white keys, the pattern of black keys makes it easy to identify the keyboard layout. The black keys are arranged in alternating groups of two and three:

(It’s not unimportant to point out that, in the piano’s early days, the “white” keys were black and the “black” keys were white! It was not until the 19th century that the now-common standard became universal.)
In fact, all you really need to recognize is this:

These are all the keys within an octave , and this pattern repeats itself seven and one third times on a modern piano for a total of 88 keys.
Now, most teachers will introduce you to the white keys at this point, starting from middle C and going up: D, E, F, G, A, B. But this isn’t the whole truth.
There’s one critical thing to note here.
The keys are not the notes. That white key immediately to the left of each group of two black keys is not C! Well, it is and it isn’t. It could be C; in fact, this key spends most of its life playing C. But it could just as well be B-sharp, or D double flat. (we will see it in next lesson Piano Key Chart for an overview.)

In order to understand this point it’s vital to understand something essential about the nature of the piano: The piano is inherently one giant compromise. You see, C, B-sharp and D double flat are not the same note , but they correspond to the same key on the piano. (English speakers might be confused by the fact that “key” is used for both the white and black buttons on a piano as well as in harmony, e.g., the “key” of C major or F-sharp minor. Other languages happen to use entirely different words for these concepts, which have no relation to one another.)

If you’re confused by sharps and flats, just remember that sharp means to play the next higher key and flat the next lower.

A set of notes that correspond to the same key on a piano is called
enharmonic . (Don’t worry about this term for now if it sounds confusing; just know that you’ll enharmonic with G-flat. Enharmonic notes aren’t technically the same, but they’re “close enough” not to matter all that much to justify making them a discrete piano key. After all, you’d have to triple the number of keys just for the sharps and flats, and that would make the piano impossible to play, not to mention a piano tuner’s worst nightmare!
There is something special about the layout of piano keys of which even most experienced pianists are unaware. There are two points on the keyboard on which a mirror could be placed, and the pattern of white and black keys would be the same in either direction.

The first of these points is the white key right in the middle of the group of two black keys:

Place both hands on that key. Now play the next higher key with the right hand and the next lower one with the left. Keep doing this, and you’ll soon discover that you could go on forever like this, and both hands will always play either a black key or a white one. (Each hand just played a chromatic scale , by the way.)
Challenge: See if you can find the other mirror point!
Now let’s familiarize yourself with the piano keyboard. Take your index, middle and ring fingers in each hand and play every group of three black keys.
Next, using your index and middle fingers, find each group of two black keys.
Now try this exercise without looking at the keyboard! This is how blind pianists are able to play, incidentally: They know the layout of piano keys from the groups of two and three black keys. It is also the proper sight reading technique.

Now that you’ve familiarized yourself with the layout of the piano keyboard, you’re ready to move on to the Piano Notes Chart…. See you there!(next lesson)

Does having oily skin frustrate you sometimes? Us too!
Oily skin has a shiny appearance especially around the ‘T’ zone that’s just not cute all the time! We know they say this skin type is best when ageing sets in but we’d rather not keep patting and dabbing on oil when all we want to do is stay flawless.

This skin type is also known by how enlarged the pores can be, they are prone to acne and all sorts of breakouts but most annoying, sebum production/that endless supply of oil *sigh* its a dramatic skin type to have tbh.

Oily skin come high maintenance really because picking products starts from making sure moisturizers and makeup products are water based and not oil based for instance, are mattifying and so on but we’ve got something exciting and cheap (yep cheap) for you to do often to reduce oiliness and get your skin glowing while at it!

Love bananas? Even if you don’t it works amazing for your skin so what’s there to lose? Banana contains zinc and vitamin C that controls skin oils and leaves a youthful glow plus honey and lemon juice are also the holy grail of picture perfect skin so…

Here you go

  1. Mash one banana
  2. Add a teaspoon of honey
  3. Add a few drops of lemon juice
  4. Leave on clean face for 7-10 minutes then rinse

Try this and let’s know the results! We did and it blew our minds.

Each side is expected to rake in around £6m just for taking part.
How much does each player win at the World Cup?
Each player at the World Cup will get paid a match fee and a winning bonus system.
England will benefit from £5 million in bonuses if they win the World Cup – £215,000 per man.
But each team will pay a different bonus to their players.

Different championship with different demands.

I noticed something about football.
Different competition has different requirement for a team to be crown the champion.

  • Leagues requires NAME(big club name).
  • Champions League requires EXPERIENCE.
  • World cup requires TALENT and FITNESS

 DO YOU AGREE WITH ME.

Questions we all need to answer.

  • Questions we all have to answer.
Do you think that humans as a species have gotten better through the generations or worse? Why?

What are some examples of small changes that can be made that really improve the lives of a country’s citizens?

What or who would you sacrifice your life for?

What is the most important thing a person can do to improve themselves?

What single event has had the biggest impact on who you are?

Do you think the future will be better than the present? Why?

Do you think human morality is learned or innate?

What’s the most crucial thing for a healthy relationship?

What lies do you most often tell yourself?

Do you think the present is better than 50 years ago? Why?

What much is a human life worth and are some lives worth more than others?

Will humans spread out among the stars or just be a brief blip in Earth’s history?

Do you think that war is inevitable or can it be ended completely?

What makes a person truly evil? Are they born that way or did their environment make them that way?

Why have apocalyptic games, movies, shows, and books become so popular in the past few years? What does it say about our culture or society?

Is there any way for governments to avoid power corrupting its politicians? If so, how? If not, what part of human nature makes corruption unavoidable?

If science makes it possible to predict which people will be more likely to commit crimes, should the highest risk individuals be jailed or killed before they can commit crimes?

Why are there so many people who are lonely? Why is it so hard for people to make real connections when almost everyone wants to make real connections?

What are the most common road blocks that stop people from achieving their dreams?

Why are people so bad at judging risks? For example: people are terrified of murders, terrorists, and flying but they are much more likely to die driving to the store.
What keeps you up at night?

What’s the most extreme example of poverty you have seen?

What are some examples of outside behaviors that are symptoms of inner emotional scars?

What do a lot of parents do that screws up their kid?

Why does society place such a high value on beauty when it serves no functional purpose?

Question that demands answer.

I really need answer to this question.
What makes a person truly evil? Are they born that way or did their environment make them that way?

Cristiano leaves very touching & emotional farewell message to 'incredible' Real Madrid fans

Cristiano Ronaldo speaks to Real Madrid and their fans via the club's website.
“These years in Real Madrid, and in this city of Madrid, have been possibly the happiest of my life. I only have feelings of enormous gratitude for this club, for the fans and for this city. I can only thank all of them for the love and affection I have received.”
“However, I believe that the time has come to open a new stage in my life and that is why I have asked the club to move. I feel that way and I ask everyone, and especially our followers, to please understand me.”
“They have been wonderful 9 years. They have been 9 unique years. It has been an exciting time for me, full of consideration but also hard because Real Madrid is demanding, but I know very well that I‘ll never forget that I have enjoyed football here in a unique way”
“I have had fabulous teammates in the field and in the dressing room, I have felt the warmth of incredible fans and together we have won 3 Champions in a row and 4 Champions in 5 years. I have the satisfaction of having won 4 Gold Balls and 3 Gold Boots.”
“Real Madrid has conquered my heart, and that of my family, and that is why more than ever I want to say thank you: thanks to the club, the President, the directors, my colleagues, all the managers, doctors, physios and incredible workers.”
“I have reflected a lot and I know that the time has come for a new cycle. I'm leaving but this shirt, this shield and the Santiago BernabΓ©u will continue to always feel as my own wherever I am. As I said that first time in our stadium 9 years ago: Hala Madrid!”
Goodbye, Cristiano!

The reason why Real Madrid agreed the deal

Juventus and Real Madrid on Tuesday, July 10, agreed terms that will see Portugal’s all-time highest goalscorer, Cristiano Ronaldo move to Turin in a deal worth a reported £105 million.

After scoring a record 450 goals in 438 games, Cristiano Ronaldo, finally ended is 9-year stay with Real Madrid after agreeing to join Italian champions, Juventus.

Real Madrid made clear in their announcement that the transfer was driven primarily by the player’s desires.

The official 192-word statement from Real Madrid read:
“Real Madrid C. F. communicates that, according to the will and request expressed by the player Cristiano Ronaldo, we have agreed to transfer him to Juventus F. C.

“Today Real Madrid wants to express its gratitude to a player who has proved to be the best in the world and who has marked one of the most brilliant times in the history of our club and world football.

“Beyond the conquered titles, the trophies and the triumphs achieved in the playing fields during these nine years, Cristiano Ronaldo has been an example of dedication, work, responsibility, talent and improvement.

“He has also become the top scorer in the history of Real Madrid with 451 goals in 438 games. In total, [Ronaldo won] 16 titles, including 4 European Cups, three of them consecutively and four in the last five seasons.
"On an individual basis, in the Real Madrid jersey he has won four Ballon d’Ors, two (Fifa’s) The Best, and three Gold Boots, among many other awards.

“For Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo will always be one of the great symbols and a unique inspiration for the next generations.

“Real Madrid will always be your home.”

Ronaldo will hope he can help Juventus win their first Champions League crown since 1996, an achievement that would add to his personal haul of five Champions League titles.

The effects of eating bread daily

There is nothing wrong with eating several slices of bread. The problem comes in when we decide to have it in our diet on a daily basis. Bread is not exactly one of the healthy foods to consume. Here is why;

It does not have nutrients. There is nothing important that we are getting from eating bread.

Especially consuming white bread that lacks fiber due to the absence of the whole grain. Bread baked out of whole grains should be something we opt for.

Contains too much salt. Most bread varieties that we buy from the supermarket contain a lot of salt. Consuming lesser bread ensures that the level of sodium in your body is significantly reduced. One can opt to bake bread at home without adding too much salt.

Makes you gain weight. Eating bread in moderation is important. It contains carbs, salt, refined sugar and preservatives that can make you add pounds. Always take time to ensure that the bread you are eating is healthy.

Will always make you feel hungry. Since most bread we eat lacks nutrients one is bound to feel hungry now and then. Basically bread is not a wholesome filling meal.

What Messi teaches us about life(even the best had to face the worst).

The Argentines breathe a sigh of relief as the referee points towards the penalty spot. A bit too early? Probably not, considering the circumstances. They opened the scoring in the 19th minute, courtesy to Sergio Aguero’s thundering shot from inside the box. But Iceland stunned them 4 minutes later, as Finnbogason’s strike went past the Argentine goalie to equalise.

For the next 41 minutes, the South Americans looked promising in attack and penetrated the Icelandic defence several times, but all this time, Iceland, World Cup debutante and the smallest nation to take part in the World Cup, managed to hold them off. So when the referee pointed to the penalty spot, the relief was all but understood.

The relief may seem premature, but if you put it in perspective, then all the odds were in their favour. They had probably the greatest striker of all time in their team to take the penalty. They had Leo Messi. The goalkeeper wasn’t the best in the world. In fact far from the best. Messi had to score. There was no way he couldn’t score.

But in the end, he couldn’t score. He would probably have scored 9 times out of 10. But this time he didn’t. And there was nothing he could do but humbly walk away with his head down and get back into the game as best as he could. He may be the best player in the world but it doesn’t matter here. What matters, is that he missed. But he didn't fret over it.

For the legend that he is, and the stage that this was, it was probably a huge mistake. But he put it behind him and tried his best to score again. That is the beauty of Messi. And that is the beauty of sports. It doesn’t matter what you did in the last match. It doesn’t matter if you are the best or the worst.

It doesn’t matter if you are rich, poor, black, white, tall, short, smart, or dumb. All that matters is what you do on the field today. And that is exactly why I believe that everyone should play sports.

It is a great leveller. Sometimes it will elevate you to unforeseen levels of performance, while sometimes it will destroy your ego completely with a nightmarish string of lows. You may be the best in the business, but you may still fail. And Messi’s is just one of the countless examples there are. Take cricket for example.

You may be a very good bowler like Ashwin or Starc. But there are days when you get plundered to all parts of the park and there is nothing you can do then. All you can do is come back stronger the next day.

This attitude is very important in life itself. And sports is the best teacher. If you failed yesterday, then it doesn’t mean that you will fail today. And if you did well yesterday, then it doesn’t guarantee success today. It teaches you to always remain grounded. Because no one’s ego lasts long. Not in sports, not in life.

There will be that one day, when your manhood will be violated, no matter how good you are. Because life is unfair. The earlier you realise this, the better it is. So if you start playing now, you are better prepared to face it. As they say, “ you should hope for the best, and prepare for the worst.” Because even Messi “the best”, had to face the worst.

Easy way to get rid of pimples.

Getting a big, red pimple on your face happens to literally everyone , but that doesn't mean you have to accept your defeat and wait patiently until the blemish goes away.
First, it's important to understand how blemishes work (knowing your enemy is half the battle, after all). "We have sebaceous glands in the skin that normally provide moisture and lubrication, but the combination of stress and hormones can form clogs," explains celebrity dermatologist Dr. Marina Peredo. "The bacteria causes inflammation in the skin, which is why blemishes and acne form." And voila! Just like that, your skin flares up.
So, how do you free yourself of this pesky inflammation? Here's how dermatologists recommend getting rid of that big ol' zit as soon as possible — and avoid making it worse.

1. Hands off.
All dermatologists agree that you should never,
ever pick at your pimple. We repeat: Do not pick at your pimple. "It may seem tempting, but remember that once you've picked at an acne lesion, it will take longer to heal and is more likely to scar," warns dermatologist Dr. Doris Day, author of 100 Questions and Answers About Acne . Trust us on this one.

2. Get a little steamy.
Heat is a super simple way to soothe your skin if you feel a blemish coming on, says Dr. Margarita Lolis, dermatologist at Skin and Laser Surgery Specialists of New York and New Jersey. "You can use a warm compress or steam to bring everything to the surface," she explains. And once your pimple appears, apply a spot treatment. Alternately, you can use a cold compress to bring down the swelling of a particularly large, painful blemish .

3. Don't skimp on washing your face.
"Your oil glands are active all day," explains Dr. Joshua Zeichner , Director of Cosmetic & Clinical Research in Dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital; when that oil combines with dirt, makeup and pollution, it's not doing your skin any favors. That goes double for workouts. "Sweat mixed with dirt and oil can become trapped under wet workout clothing," potentially worsening a breakout. "If you can't take a full shower," Dr. Zeichner says, "at least use a cleansing towelette," like Good Housekeeping Beauty Breakthrough Award winner and Seal holder Olay Daily Facials Daily Clean 4-in-1Water Activated Cleansing Cloths .

4. Try the spot-treatment trifecta.
On top of always washing off your makeup at night, using the right moisturizer for your skin type, and keeping your fingers away from your face, you can use a spot treatment to get rid of stubborn pimples. "Combine benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, and 1% hydrocortisone cream in a custom compounded acne spot treatment," Dr. Zeichner recommends. "Benzoyl peroxide kills acne causing bacteria, salicylic acid removes excess oil, and the cortisone cream reduces inflammation." This way, you can treat your pimple by addressing as many factors as possible.

5. In a pinch, get a shot.
Have a really big event coming up? Then, you probably don't have time to wait and see if your blemish will disappear on its own. Consider seeing a dermatologist for an overnight cure. "A cortisone shot is an anti-inflammatory, so it treats the pimple itself," explains Dr. Peredo. "If it's a big, painful pimple, the cortisone diffuses the inflammation and flattens it out, hopefully without leaving a scar." Of course, this isn't an easy, at-home DIY fix. It should only be administered by a physician, usually a dermatologist, and it is often covered by insurance if you have acne.

6. Adjust your regimen.
If your breakouts are pretty frequent and you're sick of it, you may want to consider switching up your skincare routine. "Pick a cleanser that has glycolic or salicylic acid in it, which you can get over the counter," Dr. Peredo instructs. "Those with acne-prone skin may need an astringent to degrease the skin, too — I like salicylic or glycolic, because they can help with
the scarring that could occur , as well."

7. Skip the homemade recipes.
While toothpaste, lemon juice and even Windex have been cited as excellent at-home remedies for blemishes, derms advise against them. "Toothpaste is more complicated than it used to be and can irritate or over-dry your skin," warns Dr. Day. " Lemon juice is also irritating and wouldn't have any effect on the pimple itself." And Windex — well, it's glass cleaner. Don't put glass cleaner on your face.

8. Go light on your makeup.
Unfortunately, using heavy coverup to make your blemishes visually disappear won't make them physically disappear. "Use mineral makeup on your skin rather than oil-based products that can contribute to breakouts," recommends Dr. Peredo, adding that oil-based foundation and concealer can be very occlusive. You can even do yourself one better and go totally makeup-free for a few days — it could be just the break your skin needs to clear up quick.

4 simple tips to start a conversation with a girl you've just met

Sometimes you might be interested in someone but since you have never met or engaged in a conversation, it becomes a challenge to communicate. However, you can still manage if you take the following steps

A comment about something in that environment

If you are in a matatu travelling to some place and she is seated right next to you, don't panic just talk about anything like for example "these car's seats are really rugged", notice how she will respond, tell her about how this vehicle's conductor was busted by the police the other day. If you sound funny to be sure that she will join in and that is how you will start getting along.

Find a common interest

When you are talking make sure to notice what makes her interested. If she is seated alone ask about "How do you see this event?" If you are traveling, ask her whether she likes the music that is playing. Once you have found what interests her, be sure that now you will get along well.

Be confident

When you start talking to her make it look like you know her very well. Ask questions confidently and when you are giving an explanation do it like you are an expert. However, if you do not have a clear information about something, be honest to say you don't know, that is how a confident person behaves.

Remain interested

Approaching her in the first place shows interested but you need to continue showing that you like her and out of so many you have taken notice of her. Talk about her style, compliment her. This will see your first conversation with her become a stepping stone for many more to come.

Dirty questions to ask a girl and make her wet.

Want to seduce a girl with words? Use these 20 dirty questions to ask a girl over text and you can make her do all the sexy, dirty talking for you!

#1 Are you alone? This question is perfect to understand if she’s idle and all alone at home. You obviously can’t flirt or talk s*x if her friends are around her. Say something bold like “I wish I could be there with you” when she reciprocates with an affirmative.

#2 What are you doing right now? Play it nice and slow. This can help you be certain that she’s alone and bored enough to give you her complete attention.

#3 Do you like cuddling when you lie in bed? Warm her up to a flirty conversation without overstepping the line. This can help open her up by talking about cuddling with someone else.

#4 What do you wear when you go to bed? / What are you wearing? A curious question that’s perfect to ask a girl when she’s in bed already. It’s personal, and yet not too s*xual. Say something like “Gosh, I can only imagine how cute you look right now” when she describes herself.
If it’s your girlfriend, ask her what she’s wearing and if she doesn’t mention her lingerie *which she may not without a bit of coaxing*, ask about her lingerie and also the color. A perfect start.

#5 What do you think you look sexiest in? Get her to talk s*xual by talking about her sexy clothing. It’s flattering and definitely s*xual.

#6 Have you ever watched someone else make out accidentally or on purpose? This question gets both of you in the mood. And yet, by directing it at a third person, you can avoid any uncomfortable situation at the start.

#7 Has a guy ever touched you or discreetly groped you while clubbing or in a crowded place? Girls have a thing about s*xual groping. Even if it’s accidental, it’s something they just don’t forget. You can answer something like “I wish I could have been that guy!” after she tells you about an incident she likes.

#8 Have you ever made out with a guy just because you were horny at that time? Find out if she’s a girl who can be coaxed into having s*x with a guy in the heat of the moment.

#9 If you had a pair of x-ray glasses, which part of a guy’s body *below his shoulders* would you see first? Time to get naughty. Really, how many things can a girl take a look at below a guy’s shoulders? Let her answer the question so you always make it seem like she’s the one talking dirty and not you.

#10 Do you like boxers or briefs? This is a clichΓ©d question and even if a girl doesn’t care about it, she’d most probably say that she likes a boxer. Answer this question by telling her what you’re wearing. The whole focus here is to get her to think of your package without really making it obvious.

#11 What’s your secret move to turn a guy on? By asking her to visualize making out with a guy and describe it to you, you’re making her fantasize about s*x. And at the same time, she may go into details just to prove how good she is sexually.

#12 If there’s one place a guy should touch you to make you horny, which is that? This goes straight to s*x and arousal. And if she does answer this truthfully, in all probability, she’s already aroused.

#13 Does a massage make you wet? A full body massage makes almost all girls wet. You can always tell her something like “Just so you know, I came first in my masseuse class and I would love to give you a massage. And don’t worry, now that I know you get horny while getting a massage, I’ll linger in all the right places.”

#14 If I kissed your lips accidentally while kissing goodbye, would you mind it? Make her imagine your kiss. It’s a perfect question to get her to pucker up.

#15 Do you like giving an oral or getting one? No matter what she answers, you can always answer with the opposite of what she says. If she likes giving an oral, say you like getting it. If she likes getting it, tell her you love giving it!

#16 How do you think my body would look better, shaved or natural? Isn’t it a nice thought to know that the girl you like is picturing you unclad the minute you ask her this question?

#17 What should a guy do to make you wet? Get straight to the sweet spot. And when she does answer this question, talk about question #12 again and get descriptive about her pleasure spots.

#18 If I were whispering all these questions in your ear, would you be turned on? If you’ve got the conversation going this far, she’s obviously wet already. But it always sounds a lot better hearing it from the girl you’re texting.

#19 If you didn’t have a boyfriend, do you think we would have made out with each other? / If I were with you right now, do you think we would have kissed each other? This question can actually get you into her bed, but you need to wait for the last question to get an invitation from her.

#20 If a guy wants to come over to your place and make out with you right now, would you like that? Don’t talk about yourself just yet, unless you already know she wants you to come over. If she answers “yes”, go full speed ahead to her place. Otherwise, play the seduction game for a few more minutes before telling her you want to come to her place right that instant.

Croatia sack coach ahead of World Cup semi-final with England

DARRAGH MURPHY
Ognjen Vukojevic has been relieved of his duties by the Croatian Football Federation for his celebratory video in the wake of Croatia's quarter-final victory over Russia at the weekend.
The Croatian assistant coach has been sacked for posting a politically-charged video to social media following the penalty shootout win, meaning he will not be in the dugout for Wednesday's semi-final clash with England.
Vukojevic, a former Croatia international, published a video in which he and defender Domagoj Vida dedicated the dramatic win to Ukraine, prompting criticism from Russian supporters.
The clip showed Vida, who scored in extra time at the Fisht Stadium, roaring "Glory to Ukraine!" while Vukojevic announced that "This victory is for Dynamo [Kiev] and Ukraine."
"The Croatian Football Federation hereby notifies the public that Ognjen Vukojevic has been relieved of his duties as an associate of the coaching staff of the Croatian national team by decision of the management of the Croatian FA, and that he will no longer be a member of the Croatian delegation at the Fifa World Cup in Russia," a statement read.
